Following the sale of the Freightliner name and Intermodal business, Heavy Haul Rail was established as a standalone business with a clear mandate: build a future-focused organisation free from legacy constraints.
The leadership team faced a critical challenge; creating both an external market presence and an internal sense of purpose at pace.
With limited time and high expectations, they needed to quickly define who the business was, how it would operate differently, and how it would inspire employees and customers alike around a new, more entrepreneurial way of working.
